The East African Communications Organization (EACO) is pleased to announce that its 1st Advisory Council (formerly EACO Congress) and 30th Annual Assemblies will take place at Radisson Blu Hotel, Juba, South Sudan from 9th to 13th June 2025.
The event will be hosted by the National Communication Authority (NCA), under the Theme:
"Advancing Sustainable E-waste Management in East Africa: Embracing Extended Producer Responsibility"
The objective is simple:
Get all non-smartphone people in the EAC community take up ownership of a smartphone as soon as possible under a viable and affordable business model.
It has been a singular honor for me to become not only a member of EACO but also more so to now being trusted to lead the “Team of achievers” of the EACO ecosystem. I would like to thank my colleagues at the EACO Secretariat, EACO Members at large and all our Partners and affiliates for making EACO continue to grow in leaps and bounds as its visibility now going global within just five years since its inception back in 2012....
